STORY
Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to do something special, something that soothes, brings pleasure and solace. And after moving to Ukraine from Uzbekistan in 1998, I realized that my hobby would be everything that can be made with my own hands: embroidery, crocheting, knitting, decorative baking of honey gingerbread, decorative and applied art: making motanka dolls, which could be protective amulets for various life situations (to protect house and household, protection of children and family from evil eye and others). Ukrainians believed that the spirit of the family is present in the motanka doll, which not only protects against all kinds of troubles, but also transmits age-old wisdom and knowledge to future generations.
For me, making a doll is an interesting and exciting activity, a kind of meditation. It is like the birth of a child, because everything should appear in this world only out of love. Everything we do is created by God with our hands. Therefore, I am convinced that this Motanka doll will bring happiness to the one in whose hands it falls.

Відколи себе пам’ятаю, постійно прагнула займатися чимось особливим, тим, що заспокоює, приносить задоволення. А після переїзду в Україну з Узбекистану в 1998 році зрозуміла, що моїм захопленням буде все, що можна виготовити власноруч: вишивка, в’язання гачком, спицями, декоративна випічка пряників медових, декоративно – ужиткове мистецтво: виготовлення ляльок – мотанок: оберегів для різних життєвих ситуацій (будинку, родинного вогнища, захисту дітей та господарства від злих сил та лихого ока та багато інших). Українці вірили, що в мотанці присутній дух роду, який не тільки оберігає від усіляких негараздів, ай передає вікову мудрість та знання прийдешнім поколінням.
Для мене виготовлення ляльки – мотанки є цікавим та захоплюючим заняттям, своєрідною медитацією. Це як народження дитини, адже все повинно з’являтися на цей світ тільки з любові. А ще я маю один секрет: усе, що роблю, створює Бог моїми руками. Тому переконана, що ця лялька – мотанка принесе щастя тому, до чиїх рук вона потрапить.
